How we started
Acreage Farms was founded in 2022 by Collin Topolski and Andy Zamora with the express purpose of accelerating sustainable agriculture and vertical farming. Located in Daytona Beach, Florida, we currently service the Volusia county area.

Collin Topolski
CEO & Co-Founder
Collin is currently a PhD candidate in Mechanical Engineering with a BS in Aerospace Engineering and an MS in Mechanical Engineering. His experience has ranged from testing steam propulsion for use on the Moon to exposing bacteria to simulated microgravity conditions. As part of his masters thesis, Collin designed, built, and validated a 2D clinostat device to simulate microgravity for bacteria with increased throughput and improved ease of use compared to current technologies. Currently, his dissertation work is assessing the impact of microbial communities on plant growth under simulated lunar conditions over successive growth cycles.
Andy Zamora
COO & Co-Founder
Andy received a BS in Computer Engineering and is currently employed as a systems engineer in the aerospace industry. Throughout his career, he has worked to implement and integrate advanced computer systems into avionics systems. He also has worked with functional and regression testing within integration labs as well as performed in depth work on requirements and software development life cycles throughout his career. Outside of his day job, Andy serves as a Cyber Warfare Officer in the United States Army National Guard.
Meagan Shivers
Technology Developer
Meagan Shivers is completing her M.S in
Unmanned and Autonomous Systems Engineering. Meagan is an AI/ML Engineer in the aviation and defense industry where she has helped develop and integrate AI based systems into the aircraft production line and into mission systems. She has gained experience building model training pipelines, creating services that deploy AI models, working in cloud based systems, and has integrated AI onto hardware for computing-at-the-edge.
